What is a Canada spouse visa?
The Spousal Sponsorship program Canada is an initiative to keep the immigrants' families together. The spouse visas, Canada along with other dependent visa programs allow citizens or permanent residents in Canada, who are above 18 years of age to sponsor his/her family members which include spouse, children, parents, grandparents, and other common-law partners. Note that the Canadian government recognizes same-sex marriage and the partners are eligible to apply.

A conjugal partner is someone who the Canadian citizen have not been able to live with for one year continuously. This category will also include a spouse who is unable to marry his/her Canadian citizenship. This can happen due to not being available because of marital status, sexual orientation, and immigration barriers.
